Rays Add Needed Power Hitter
The Tampa Bay Rays make a splash in free agency, signing the right handed power hitter they were looking for.
Pat Burrell signed a 2-year, $16 million dollar deal to join the Rays.
Burrell hit .250, with 33 home runs last season with the Philadelphia Phillies.
This off season, the Rays have picked up three players, outfielders Burrell and Matt Joyce and Pitcher Joe Nelson.
